Our Journey
In the past, this land was nothing more than an ex-coal mining site. It was reclaimed with albasia trees but dominated by shrubs and wild grasses, the air was scorching hot, and the soil was dry and cracked. There were also old mining pits that filled with rainwater, turning into bluish lakes whose chemical content made them unsuitable for fish to live in. Many people thought this land was finished with no future.
But we believe every piece of land deserves a second chance. From this empty ground, we began planting around 3,300 durian trees: Musang King, Black Thorn, and Bawor. We also planted chili, longan, mango, and coconut. Little by little, what was once barren and dry has now turned green again. The air feels fresher, and the soil has come back to life.

Tjintapoeri Durian Farm is not just an ordinary durian orchard. It is living proof that former mining land can still have a future. By planting, nurturing, and protecting, we want to send a message
”That business can grow hand in hand with caring for the earth.”
We are not only planting durian trees, but also planting hope for the environment, for the local community, and for future generations who will one day taste the sweetness of a land cared for with love.
